This past weekend Margaret and Daron visited us from the state of Atlanta. The four of us enjoyed dinner on St. Simons and time on the beach. My hook up from the hospital provided us with VIP access to Darien, Georgia's Blessing of the Fleet. This festival marks the beginning of shrimping season and was celebrated with a motown band and fireworks. The free food and drinks weren't bad either! The mystery punch was fondly called "River Rash," but I think we all escaped without itching. Many of the people attending the event partied and listened to the band from their boats at the marina. Perfect scenery, beautiful sunset, great view of the fireworks, and balcony seating for the entertainment. My heart is now set on those people's idea of retirement.
And as part of initiation for our Brunswick visitors, we let our guests Wii Box each other!! We believe it's very theraputic for couples. Here is Margie knocking Daron's lights out!
He looks scared doesn't he?
