1. No shoes in the bathroom.
That's it. No other rules needed.
After an hour of scrubbing the bathroom and kitchen floors on my hands and knees, this is the new house rule. The bleach is still stinging my eyes and my hand is coping with the pain of scrubbing every inch of grout. All this hard work and the tile's not even mine. Nope, all that dirt and grime I worked so hard to remove is not even MY dirt. It belongs to all the tenants that came before us, and when we leave here, I don't even get to take my clean tile with me.
But damn if it doesn't look good.
