He begins to look me up and down.
"No, no, about my face"
"Um, your lipstick?"
"I'm not wearing lipstick."
"…foundation?" (He totally gets credit for knowing the word foundation)
"No…"
"OH! You drew lines on your eyelashes."
"Yes, dear. I DREW on my eyes. Do you like it?"
"Oh yes, definitely."
