We had a wonderful first Easter with James. The Easter bunny was good to him bringing teething toys, books and pacifiers!
This was also James’ time at church. He did very well! Fussed a little at the beginning of service so I took him out and rocked him to sleep. He slept the rest of the service and woke up after to greet some new friends. We enjoyed having our son with us at church. I kept thinking back to how not that long ago I was pregnant with him standing in those same pews. And here we are now with our son in our arms. We are so grateful for this happy, healthy little boy. We pray that James will also come to know the gift of Jesus in his life.
After church we met my parents for lunch on a nice sunny patio at a local restaurant. We love that James’ grandparents are close enough to share in these moments with us! James also experienced his first Greek Easter dinner. I wore him in the baby bjorn and he slept the entire time we were there. I can’t believe we didn’t take any pictures, but George and I were just enjoying being out of the house and visiting with family! Maybe next year James will have his first taste of Easter Lamb.
Hope you all enjoyed your Easter celebrations too!
