Party Time!

We had James’ first birthday party last weekend with close family and friends. It was so fun to plan and throw this party for our precious baby boy.

George and I put together his month by month banner. Which we have had up for almost the whole month of February. I’m going to have a hard time taking this decoration down!

And the most exciting part of the birthday…cake smashing time! I really enjoyed making this cake for James. I think I’ll make it a tradition to make cakes for our kids. I liked staying up late with George adding the finishing touches to something we had put so much work into.

James was ready to go before I even put the cake down.

He wanted to make sure he was allowed to eat the whole thing before digging in.

This is when James discovered blueberries are the best thing on earth. He hasn’t stopped eating them since.

James loved having all his little friends here to play with and we’re so grateful that James has so many people who love him. We had a great time celebrating James’ one year of life!
