George and I took the day off work to help James celebrate his birthday. His sweet teachers made him this birthday crown to wear on the big day.
We gave James some of his birthday cake for breakfast. It’s safe to say he loved it!
And then he wanted Laney to love it too.
We took James to the Children’s museum downtown for his big day. They had a 2 and under section that was perfect for James. He went straight for this piano!
And then he showed off with a few more steps.
There were tunnels,
and this little bridge that he was enamored with.
Then he went fishing with Mpampa. He looks so little in this coat with his father’s hand on his back. I love this picture!
Their first catch!
James’ favorite thing to do though was pushing this grocery cart around the entire museum. I think he would have done this all day if we let him.
When he gets serious about pushing things or even crawling he puts his head down to go even faster! It’s too funny!
James also loved this big slide! Such a happy boy!
We enjoyed our special day with James and look forward to many many more birthday celebrations with him!
