James you are a ton of fun right now! You’re discovering new things every day.
Here are some of the words you’ve been working on this past month:
Nero ("ro") Greek for water
Up comes out as "upa" and you shake your little head up and down saying "yes mama, thats right. I want upa."
"go" pointing and running towards the door
mpa mpa “bah bah” – Greek for dad
mama – which of course I love!
avgo, Greek for egg
gala, Greek for milk
You also learned how to give awesome hugs this month and you’re so sweet to give them out when we ask! When we ask for a kiss you just lean in with you cheek to receive a smooch instead.
You LOVE anything with wheels or anything that you can make go. Every time you see something with wheels you’re always quick to provide the lip noise sound effect “brbrbrbrbbbb”
You’re really into helping us buckle you into your car seat or your wagon.
You’ve started the transition to the next class at school...thank goodness! You’ll have a more structured setting, older friends in class, more opportunities to learn, a music class, water play on Thursdays and best of all a set naptime and duration!! Praise the Lord for more than 30 minute naps! George and I are really looking forward to less cranky evenings with James.
You love to take walks and just be outside. The sweatier the better for you!
You are still So very ACTIVE! This month it became glaringly clear to your dad and I that we're going to have to find you an outlet for all that energy you have!
We love you so much sweet boy and can’t wait to see what new things you’ll learn next!
