Anna–8 Months Old

This has been a busy month for you Anna!

We have been on many adventures together this month.

We took you swimming for the first time and you loved it. You kicked and splashed right along with James.

You have become very good at picking up and exploring all of your toys. You love working on these fine motor skills.

You and James have also started playing together so much more this month. Here you are dancing together. You are such a good sport! hah.

This little beach ball has been your favorite toy this month.

You have been sleeping very well at home lately and we are grateful. However, you are now taking after your brother and not sleeping at school. It used to be 30 minutes a day and now we’re happy if you sleep at all!

You are just a social girl with so much to do and see.

You have also mastered the beginning stages of crawling this month.  I have also learned dresses are really hard for babies to crawl in!

You have finally taken an interest in food. You enjoy purees and are thrilled about anything you are able to do yourself. You LOVE steamed broccoli trees and here you are making a mess of an avocado.

Pickles were a favorite of James’ too!

We also did the first two kids in the same tub bath! Anna was really excited.

It went well for the most part except you kept trying to jump hug your brother….and the squeals of excitement from both of you was just so sweet to see.

And then brother couldn’t stop dumping water on your head so we quickly ended the fun.

You also learned how to pull up on your crib, so you are sleeping a little lower to the ground these days.

James wanted to jump in your monthly pictures. Twins!!

Taking your picture is getting more and more difficult.

You are developing so much personality and we love getting to know you better.

Yes, sweet girl, we love you too!!
