Six months pregnant!
My sweet friend Margaret is also due with a baby about two weeks after me. She and her husband graciously decided to share their gender reveal moment with us! We hadn’t told anyone but our parents about the gender and decided to surprise Margaret and Daron with our results too. I picked up cupcakes with the correct gender color inside and we took turns with the reveal!
Here are George and I digging in!
Here are Margaret and I with our baby BOY cupcakes!! We are so thrilled to be having these boys together. May they also be dear dear friends for life!
James’ preschool class preformed during the Sunday morning church service recently. His class sang “He’s got the whole world in His hands.” It was absolutely precious and James did such a wonderful job singing and doing all the hand motions.
Anna was supposed to be sitting with George, but she some how escaped and made it up front to be on stage with brother. So so sweet.
And then my heart burst into a thousand pieces when on the verse “He’s got the brothers and the sisters in His hands” James reached down and asked Anna to stand up and hold his hand. SO sweet these two….makes up for all the bickering!
We also celebrated my Mom’s birthday this month.
Mimi with all three of her grandbabies! haha.
The kids were thrilled to partake in the chocolate cake festivities!
On Mother’s day we headed to the Dunwoody Nature center. We did this last year too and I love this new tradition we’ve started.
They have letterboxing set up and James loves to go on this scavenger hunt. My littles and me on Mother’s Day!
James also finished up t-ball this month. Here is his team with their new trophies! So proud!
We took a field trip to George’s office this month. James was so excited about all the new “toys.”
Anna had her first pony tail!! I was so excited, she was too except to promptly pulled it out. I have yet to get her to leave it alone since then. But she is pretty much “bow trained” so I’ll take it!
We also took a trip to Zesto to visit Papou and Yia Yia! The kids were thrilled to wear their special shirts and of course to receive ice cream!
James also decided this month that he no longer needed his bed rails! He was so proud! We are too!
Lots of milestones this month! Last day of preschool!! I had hoped to take his picture in the same outfit he wore on the first day for comparison, but they had water play so shark swim suit it is!
Here he was on the first day of school. He’s definitely taller and in need of a hair cut, haha.
Post water play sad face. He had a great year at his new preschool. I am so grateful for this opportunity for him.
One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to go to all the outdoor concerts around town. Here are the kids at the Beatles tribute band concert. They loved the music and had some great dance moves.
And lastly we celebrated my birthday! It was a nice quiet celebration with my loves and yummy cupcakes!
