Sorry to have not let the blogging world know that Laney made it safely through her surgery last week. Poor thing had to wear the dumb collar that made her look like she had no arms, and she loved it so much she chewed it to pieces. Why the vet thought it was a good idea to give her the cloth one instead of the plastic one I'll never know, but she's managed to pee on it twice too.
Glory really missed her sister for the full 24 hours she was gone. They've never been apart more than 30 minutes since we've had Lane and it was amazing the difference in our household without her. Peace and quiet pretty much sums it up, but we wouldn't trade her sweet face for anything!
Unfortunately the decrease in excitability that George and I were hoping for hasn't happened yet. Just as I typed this she hacked up pieces of her toy she managed to destroy. Some things never change. Maybe in the next six months.

I can't wait to meet Laney this weekend-her cloth E-collar is hilarious-what a dumb idea to make it out of cloth. Haley had to wear one for months while we tried to figure out her allergy problems!
