Adding to the insanity of our rental situation, the mystery crackling noise we've been hearing in the sunroom ceiling has been solved. But its not good. There's been a debate as to whether the noise was water damage expanding the insulation or creatures. Today when I came home from work I noticed the ceiling seemed saggier than normal and when I looked at the cracks in the ceiling I saw legs and antennae poking out. I can't even begin to describe the freak out moment I had when I saw this. And then it got worse. I saw what the creatures truly were, BEES. Holy crap there are bees in the ceiling! One bee had escaped already and by the time George got home there were three!! The dogs lost it too after seeing my reaction and sensing my extreme anxiety. After calling my husband, the landlord, and my father we determined the best course of action was to tape up the seams in the ceiling to prevent more from escaping. That idea came from the more rational husband, where as I had all the valuables removed from the sunroom and our emergency bags packed in case things got out of control. I mean seriously can't you see it? The ceiling finally gives way and hundreds of bees pour out into my house, Kate and the dogs run screaming out of the house. Again, Fantastic.

Wow. Are there any hotels next to your house that may be available in August? We'll be sure to pack plenty of tape for the ceiling. --Adam
