Have you met my son…
I have a SON! Which makes me a MOM! And we had a wonderful weekend celebrating Mother’s Day. We took advantage of the perfect weather and had a picnic.
My little toehead needed a hat!
I love my little family!
I can’t get over how much fun it is to just play with my baby. I’ve dreamed about days like these for so long and now we have a sweet son to share them with!
Eskimo kisses and slobbery Eskimo kisses
Sunday was an extra special day for us. Our church had Baby Dedication Sunday in honor of Mother’s Day. Both sets of grandparents were there for the occasion in which we dedicated James to the Lord and pledged to raise him in a Christian home. We look forward to watching James grow in his faith and are honored to be his parents.
There were about 15 babies there that morning and amazingly no tears during the service!
Here we are after church.
The Mamas!
and The Papas!
After church we headed to lunch --- Mexican of course since the newest Mama was choosing.
James and I ended the afternoon with a LONG nap together on the couch. Perfect ending to a perfect weekend.
We are so grateful to our own mothers and grandmothers for raising us, supporting us and loving us!
Happy Mother’s Day to all our Mothering Readers.
P.S. – James is three months old today! Post is coming tomorrow.
