We spent most of February celebrating our THREE year old, but we also had some time to just live life simply.
What could be in this box?
It’s a JAMES!!!
We played this game over and over and over. So. Much. Fun.
One day he decided he needed to be a fireman and put this on all by himself.
Handsome fireman!
Mama! I can’t be bothered with pictures when there are birthday cupcakes in the oven!!
A rare mama and anna photo.

I’m sure you’ve noticed how long James’ hair is. Truth is, I love his hair long. I think it keeps him youthful and suits his personality. But, when it creeps into his eyes, becomes a mullet in the back and I can’t get an appointment for a hair cut, I had to take matters into my own hands.
Armed with the help of Thomas the Tank Engine,
a spray bottle and good scissors I tried to trim James’ hair.
I knew I wasn’t talented enough to shape it, so I tried to stick to the lines of the original cut. As you can see I was a little skeptical.
At least I could see his eyebrows again.
A little real life shot while we were on the road to vacation.
Who needs changing tables?!
What?!
Oh, and have you met my 16 year old??
We don’t do videos in the car, except for long road trips. This face is why. At one point on our drive home, Anna was crying because she was sick of her carseat, James was throwing a tantrum because we turned off his video, and we were still 2 hours from home. I looked at George and just laughed it was so awful.
More pictures and happier tales of our vacation will come in the March post!
