Its a Dog Party!

The birthday celebration began with a photoshoot with our new camera.

Laney looking wiser than her one year,

complete with gigantic birthday bow in a smashing shade of magenta

Does this tutu make my hips look big?

We played games like "attack the photographer"

And "quick! do your best impression of a sad bear cub."

(Is it just me? She totally looks like a polar bear or something.)

We then took the party and all attendees to the best place on earth...PetSmart!

Glory was totally bored and wished Laney would just hurry and pick her dang treat already.

We then headed to the Golden Arches for the traditional Happy Meal for the birthday dog

Ironically, the sponsor for the happy meal was the new movie "Hotel for Dogs"

Glory longed for fries...

and Laney finished off her burger, buns first.

That's my girl to save the best for last.

The prize from the happy meal was a cute little guy named Henry.

Birthdays are a lot of work, good thing they only come once a year.
