I can’t believe I haven’t posted these photos sooner. Over fourth of July weekend we took James swimming for the first time. He LOVED it, and I think I loved it just as much. Y’all this was the most fun I’ve had as a mom thus far. That may sound silly, because lets face it James is a fun kid all the time, but this was the best yet.
As soon as his legs hit the water he started kicking. It’s like he’d been in a pool of water before or something, ha.
Liz and Chen invited us for the pool party and James was excited to play with his friend Austin!
And Austin was so nice to share his floats with us.
He smiled and cooed and I loved being a part of this “first” with him. I completely underestimated how much joy I would receive from watching my little boy grow, learn and live new experiences in life.
Neither one of us wanted to get out of the water, but we were pruning!
We can’t wait to get back in the pool.
