Recently we headed to Nashville to visit Julie, my college roommate, and her new bundle of joy Alexis.
Julie and I were randomly(sort of, its a long story) matched as roommates freshman year and as suitemates with Liz. And here we are 11 years later each with our first child.
And here is the newest family
This is what kind of excitement Julie and I have to look forward to when we have almost one year olds.
And attempting to have normal, just like old times, eating out experiences. We know those days are over.
All in all the trip was a success. James had his first stay in a hotel room.
We visited the Parthenon!
And James learned how to be a man amongst the men folk.
Would you just look at those precious feet! Legs crossed and shirtless --- “That’s my boy!”
And most importantly we met sweet Alexis. We’re so happy you’re here and can’t wait to play with you again.

Oh that long story...at least it worked out well and we still got to live together two years later! Julie's little girl is darling! So fun that all your babes are so close in age.
